MITCHELL AZARIA,
Executive Producer
Mitch is the Executive Producer/Producer of GREAT
CANADIAN PARKS (70 episodes), HISTORYLANDS (65
episodes), GREAT CANADIAN RIVERS (39 episodes)
and GREAT LAKES (6 episodes). He has produced
programming for CTV, CBC and ESPN. Before starting
Good Earth Productions, Mitch was a staff producer
at The Sports Network where he produced "TSN
Inside Sports" and "Sportsdesk"
on a daily basis. Prior to joining TSN, Mitch
spent seven years as a reporter, producer and
anchorman with CanWest.
IHOR MACIJIWSKY,
Co-Executive Producer, Director of Photography
Ihor's cinematography in GREAT CANADIAN PARKS
(70 episodes) and GREAT CANADIAN RIVERS has been
praised by many television critics. He began his
television career as a documentary cameraman,
then spent eight years at Global Television. For
the past eighteen years, Ihor has been much in
demand as one of Canada's premiere documentary
cameramen. He has also shot internationally acclaimed
documentaries including "Dance of Death"
(Spain, 1982) the Emmy Award-winning "The
Plague Monkeys" (1994, Africa) and "Penn
and Teller's Magic & Mystery Tour" (2000,
India & China)
KRISTEN COLLE,
Producer, Great Canadian Rivers
This is Kristen's second year as Producer on the
GREAT CANADIAN RIVERS series. She offers a valuable
combination of research and production skills.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Canadian
History and a graduate degree in Journalism. For
seven years Kristen has worked as researcher,
writer and director on GREAT CANADIAN PARKS, HISTORYLANDS
and more recently as producer for the GREAT CANADIAN
RIVERS series. She also Produced and Directed
"Sacred Spaces", which was nominated
for a Golden Sheaf Award
JANICE DAWE,
Producer, Great Lakes
Prior to joining Good Earth Productions, Janice
was Producer of a number of successful television
series and documentaries including Streets of
the World for Travel US, History Television, and
DCI. She began her career with TVOntario and went
on to independently produce social issue documentaries
including Borrowed Time broadcast on TVO, PBS,
and BBC Scotland and Zero Tolerance for Newsworld
and TVOntario. As a partner in Stone Soup Productions
she produced the Gemini-nominated lifestyle series
Harrowsmith Country Life..
ANDREA MINTY,
Business & Legal Affairs
Since Good Earth's inception in 1992, Andrea has
been responsible for all business, distribution
and legal affairs for the company. She also oversees
the production process for all programs &
series. Andrea has worked in television administration
for 20 years. She honed her business and management
skills in key positions with Corvideocom and PreRoll
Productions.
